Cross River is seeking a QA Engineer II to join the Lending team on a full-time, remote basis. Cross River provides the financial infrastructure powering payments, lending, cards, and digital assets for global enterprises and fintech companies.
In this role, the selected candidate will test applications and services that comprise the Lending platform. Responsibilities involve building automation, writing test cases, executing API and regression checks, and tracking defects until resolution. The position requires partnering with both internal and external collaborators.
The annual salary ranges from $100,000 to $140,000. Cross River operates as an equal opportunity employer.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual and automated testing across Lending applications with internal and external teams
- Build and maintain test automation covering critical business domains
- Engage in planning, triage, and prioritization regarding testing tasks
- Create and run test cases for functional, regression, and API evaluations
- Find, record, and follow defects through to resolution
- Promote a collaborative and quality-focused team culture
Requirements
- 3+ years of background in quality assurance and test automation
- Working knowledge of C# and Python
- 1+ years of experience utilizing SQL
- 1+ years of experience testing RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git
- Familiarity with AI assistive and agentic code generation tools such as Copilot, Claude Code, and Cursor
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Qualifications
- Prior background working in finance, banking, fintech, or crypto
