Coins.ph is seeking a QA Engineer-PH to join its established cryptocurrency platform in the Philippines. Serving over 18 million users through its mobile application, the company is regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and holds both Virtual Currency and Electronic Money Issuer licenses. In this hybrid role, the professional will ensure the stability and quality of financial services, payment systems, and merchant backends.
This position suits an experienced software tester with a strong background in business testing, interface automation, and SQL. The selected candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to execute implementations, identify business risks, and contribute to a fast-growing organization with expansion plans outside the APAC region.
Responsibilities
- Conduct business testing for payment systems, accounts, transactions, and merchant backends
- Design and execute test cases, track defects, and perform regression verification
- Engage in requirement and solution reviews to spot business risks and maintain launch stability
- Execute interface and functional testing while helping locate and resolve production issues
- Contribute to automation testing by writing and updating automated scripts to boost regression efficiency
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of software testing experience with familiarity across the testing lifecycle
- Demonstrated capability in business testing to independently design and run test cases for complex scenarios
- Hands-on background in interface and user interface automation testing supported by basic coding abilities in Python or Java
- Proficiency in SQL combined with clear logical thinking and a strong sense of responsibility
