Justlife is hiring a full-time, remote QA Engineer based in India to oversee quality assurance for mobile applications, web platforms, and backend systems. Justlife operates a home services platform relied upon by thousands of customers daily across the UAE and Saudi Arabia for bookings such as cleaning and maintenance. In this role, the engineer will act as the quality gatekeeper, minimizing production defects, accelerating resolution times, and establishing AI-driven testing practices. This position suits individuals who possess a detective-like mindset for edge cases, thrive in fast-paced startup environments, and demonstrate curiosity about artificial intelligence and automation tools.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test scenarios covering mobile, web, and backend systems while investigating the root causes of bugs
- Engage in product and technical grooming sessions to identify risks and potential failure points before development begins
- Partner with the automation team to expand regression suites and determine appropriate tests for automation versus manual execution
- Perform regression, exploratory, integration, and end-to-end testing for assigned Scrum commitments
- Apply AI tools and agents to expedite test scenario generation, analyze requirements for gaps, and minimize repetitive manual tasks
- Form strong collaborative relationships with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders
- Design and launch at least one AI-driven quality assurance initiative within the first six months and present the results to the engineering organisation
Requirements
- At least two years of hands-on quality assurance experience focusing on test design, bug lifecycle management, and root-cause analysis
- Practical application of artificial intelligence tools in quality assurance or software development work
- Familiarity with automation concepts and test frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Appium
- Previous experience working within a startup or fast-paced technical environment dealing with mobile, web, and backend systems
