The person in this role will guide technical investigations, manage root-cause and corrective-action workflows, draft standardized field service bulletins, and monitor quality metrics. Travel domestically and internationally—including trips to manufacturing facilities in Mexico—is expected approximately ten to twenty percent of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Convert field data into actionable insights for design, manufacturing, supplier controls, and installation training
  • Write controlled Field Service Bulletins detailing repair steps, safety protocols, acceptance criteria, and closeout records
  • Track quality program performance using dashboards and report trends to leadership and project partners
  • Travel to customer locations and factories in Mexico to inspect equipment, assist with troubleshooting, and confirm repair efficacy

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least three years of professional experience in manufacturing quality, field service, commissioning, reliability engineering, or technical investigations
  • Proficiency in mechanical or electrical troubleshooting and structured problem-solving methodologies like RCA, CAPA, 8D, 5 Why, or FMEA
  • Capability to translate incomplete field details into accurate technical problem statements and drive them to closure
  • Ability to complete domestic and international travel roughly ten to twenty percent of the time, including trips to Mexico

Qualifications

  • Five or more years of professional background in quality, reliability, field service, commissioning, or technical investigations
  • Direct familiarity with commercial or industrial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
  • Background working with custom air-handling units, building controls, construction drawings, specifications, or active job sites
  • Prior interaction with manufacturing plants, component suppliers, factory quality teams, or field service departments
  • History of authoring technical repair guidelines, field service bulletins, or quality performance dashboards
  • Possession of a valid passport at hire or the ability to acquire one within ninety days
