VeilSun is hiring a remote Quickbase Technical Lead for a full-time, salaried position ranging from $100,000 to $115,000 per year, based on experience. This role functions as a senior individual contributor who takes charge of technical execution on client engagements while acting as a trusted consultant. The professional in this position designs scalable Quickbase applications, translates operational needs into low-code solutions, and guides clients on best practices. Duties also involve partnering with the Practice Technical Manager and project managers to ensure delivery aligns with architectural standards and timelines, as well as mentoring developers.
This position suits an experienced developer who possesses both technical proficiency and a consulting mindset. Candidates must reside in the United States, hold authorization to work without sponsorship, and be available for occasional travel to client meetings and team gatherings.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and development of scalable Quickbase solutions by creating data models, workflows, and integrations
- Act as lead developer for design projects and Ongoing Development Plan engagements
- Optimize application usability, performance, and maintainability
- Consult with client stakeholders to align platform decisions with business challenges and long-term value
- Collaborate with project managers to maintain delivery timelines and scope discipline
- Identify opportunities for expanding or enhancing Quickbase solutions to improve client operations
- Enforce VeilSun development standards, governance practices, and reusable patterns
- Mentor developers and offer technical guidance to build team capabilities
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software development experience
- Experience designing Quickbase applications, including automation, data models, and workflows
- Strong understanding of system design and process-driven applications
- Client-facing or consulting experience
- Ability to work in Agile and Waterfall project environments
