ALO seeks a Regional Asset Protection Manager to direct the asset protection functions for retail locations throughout the Central United States, ideally operating from Dallas. This full-time, on-site role involves working closely with retail operations leaders and asset protection teams to execute comprehensive security, loss-prevention, and risk-management programs supporting the expanding brand.
The position is well-suited for an experienced security professional who embraces emerging technologies and artificial intelligence as force multipliers for trend detection, investigation, and data-informed decision-making. Responsibilities span shrink reduction, conducting internal and external investigations, overseeing physical security standards, managing third-party security providers, and responding to critical incidents or emergencies. The ideal candidate will build strong partnerships with field leadership and store teams while promoting a culture of integrity and safety.
Travel is a major component of this position, requiring extensive local and regional travel up to approximately 80 percent of the time, including overnight stays, weekends, evenings, and holidays as business needs dictate.
Responsibilities
- Analyze inventory shrink results and collaborate with store and district leadership to mitigate internal and external theft, fraud, and operational errors
- Conduct risk and site-vulnerability assessments to protect employees, guests, merchandise, and company property
- Leverage data analytics, CCTV, RFID, and artificial intelligence-enabled tools to detect patterns and accelerate investigative efficiency
- Manage internal and external investigations regarding theft, fraud, and integrity concerns, conducting interviews in compliance with company standards and laws
- Oversee physical security standards and systems across assigned stores, including alarms, access controls, cameras, and locking mechanisms
- Coordinate responses to security incidents, threats, and regional emergencies in partnership with retail operations, human resources, and law enforcement
- Deliver asset protection training and build collaborative relationships with district managers, store teams, and external partners
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of multi-unit, field-based asset protection or loss prevention experience
- Minimum of two years of supervisory or leadership experience supporting multiple locations
- Demonstrated experience conducting internal and external theft, fraud, and integrity investigations
- Proficiency with asset protection applications, CCTV platforms, point-of-sale reporting, Shopify, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the Central region up to approximately 80 percent of the time, including overnights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and professional experience in retail asset protection, loss prevention, law enforcement, private security, or risk management
- Familiarity with applicable Canadian privacy, surveillance, security, employment, and workplace-safety requirements
