Job Description
JPM Unternehmensgruppe is hiring a Remote Access Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join the Corporate Sector Employee Platforms team. This position involves owning the creation, design, and management of global remote access infrastructure. Professionals in this role will handle application delivery controllers, access gateways, virtual desktop brokers, and related network and certificate services. The work takes place within a heavily regulated setting spanning multiple global data center regions.
This is a hands-on engineering position requiring design authority to establish configuration standards, engineer capacity and regional failover, and secure externally reachable access paths. Candidates will also utilize enterprise-authorized artificial intelligence tools to support infrastructure analysis, documentation, and automation tasks. This role is a fit for experienced infrastructure engineers who possess a background in enterprise remote access, virtual desktop infrastructure, or application delivery at a global scale.
Responsibilities
- Own the architectural design, build processes, and lifecycle management for global remote access infrastructure
- Establish standard configurations and reference architectures across multiple regions to replace legacy exceptions
- Engineer regional redundancy, load testing, traffic distribution, and disaster recovery solutions for high concurrency
- Harden the end-to-end access path by managing TLS settings, multi-factor authentication, device posture checks, and firmware updates
- Automate build, configuration, and post-change validation procedures while collaborating with security, network, and operations teams
- Leverage enterprise-approved artificial intelligence capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis, design documentation, and remediation validation
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of applied experience alongside formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts
- Demonstrated experience engineering virtual desktop infrastructure, application delivery, or enterprise remote access at a global scale within a regulated environment
- Hands-on expertise with access gateways and application delivery controllers such as Omnissa UAG and Citrix NetScaler
- Engineering experience with enterprise virtual desktop platforms including Omnissa Horizon and Citrix
- Working command of directory services, SAML federation, multi-factor authentication, DNS, firewall policies, routing, and TLS
- Experience with capacity planning, load testing, and resiliency engineering alongside automation skills in Python, PowerShell, Terraform, or similar tools
- Familiarity with Akamai or Cloudflare
- Ability to review, validate, and audit artificial intelligence-assisted outputs before implementation
Qualifications
- Experience working with cloud-delivered access services or zero-trust network access, including outbound connector models and identity-aware proxies
- History of minimizing the internet-facing attack surface for external enterprise services without impacting the user experience
- Familiarity with diverse endpoint populations and thin client platforms across both managed and unmanaged devices
- Hands-on background managing appliance hardware refreshes and firmware lifecycles inside co-located data centers
