Stack Builders seeks a Full Stack Software Developer for a remote contract position to support globally recognized businesses. This role involves backend-focused maintenance, platform reliability, and enhancements to web and artificial intelligence workflows.
The ideal candidate is an autonomous professional who communicates effectively in English and collaborates directly with engineering teams. Responsibilities include building production-ready applications, updating dependencies, resolving bugs, and managing tasks independently. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain services and web applications utilizing Java, Maven, and Node.js
- Contribute to component development and maintenance for client web platforms
- Address backlog items such as bug fixes, technical debt, and dependency updates
- Utilize Buildkite and continuous integration and deployment pipelines for reliable delivery
- Collaborate directly with client engineering teams to share progress and handle blockers
- Adapt to project priorities by participating in infrastructure changes and artificial intelligence workflow enhancements
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience
- At least 2 years of experience developing software with Java using Maven and Node.js
- Full-stack development background covering frontend and backend technologies
- Practical experience applying generative AI to enhance software delivery while keeping engineering quality
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines, specifically Buildkite
- Proficiency in written and spoken English for frequent client communication
- Capacity to manage assigned work autonomously with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager
