Job Description
Pearl Talent is recruiting a full-time Full-Stack Software Engineer who can work from anywhere in Latin America, on a schedule of 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. Pearl matches top-tier candidates with startups across the United States and Europe.
The end client is a catering-industry data and analytics company. The product plugs into point-of-sale software. Headcount is thin: one CTO covers every technical task, and the codebase is entirely JavaScript and TypeScript. The next 12 to 24 months of work centers on new API integrations and data pipelines, which the posting describes as a clean-slate build.
The engineer reports to the CTO and owns each feature from the planning stage to live monitoring. Day-to-day tasks cover feature work, client bug triage from Slack, dependency updates and minor infrastructure chores on GCP. Projects include linking point-of-sale APIs from outside vendors into data pipelines that feed analytics, and adding AI features built on the Claude and OpenAI APIs. The team works with Claude Code and Codex across several git worktrees at once, and the engineer reviews pull requests.
The posting asks for three to seven years of professional software engineering, including production JavaScript and TypeScript work, React front ends, and Node.js and Express APIs. Daily use of agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor is required, along with a history of shipping features end to end. English at C1 level or above is needed for daily talk with the CTO and clients. Next.js, MongoDB, Google Cloud experience and remote work with US teams are nice to have.
The package includes pay based on experience and skills, fully remote work, PTO under company policy, rewards for clean CRM records and on-time reporting, mentorship from senior practitioners, learning resources and a professional network. Full-time staff based in the Philippines receive HMO coverage after three months.
