This professional will manage core financial workflows, ensuring accurate reporting and analysis for production and inventory operations within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. The person in this role will handle the delivery of annual budgets and periodic forecasts covering manufacturing expenses, purchasing volumes, contract manufacturing organization costs, and cost of goods sold. Daily duties involve collaborating with manufacturing partners to align contract manufacturing inventory reports against system balances, executing monthly balance sheet reconciliations for inventory and cost accounting, and managing trial balance reconciliations between SAP and Oracle. Additionally, the individual will create necessary correcting journal entries and assist with audit preparation by fulfilling requested document lists for quarterly and annual reviews.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver timely annual budgets and forecasts for production volumes, purchases, contract manufacturing organization expenses, and cost of goods sold
- Fulfill quarterly and annual audit PBC list requests
- Execute monthly balance sheet reconciliations for inventory and cost accounting
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to reconcile contract manufacturing organization inventory reports against system inventory balances and activities
- Perform trial balance reconciliations between SAP and Oracle systems and generate correcting journal entries as needed
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor degree in finance or accounting
- Possess relevant cost accounting experience
- Demonstrate advanced expertise in SAP and Oracle costing
- Bring 8 to 12 years of relevant experience without a master degree, or 6 to 8 years of relevant experience with a master degree, gained within the biotech or pharmaceutical sector
Qualifications
- Experience using Hyperion, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience or exposure to financial reporting
