Prolific is seeking a full-time Research Consultant to join its Managed Services team on a remote basis. In this position, the professional will deliver a consultative experience for clients executing sophisticated research initiatives.
The person in this role will serve as an advisor, guiding clients through methodology planning, study design, and decision-making backed by rigorous data. Responsibilities include handling client engagements from scoping to reporting, setting up studies using Qualtrics and Prolific, and interpreting findings. The professional will also collaborate internally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Supply departments to support new business and refine internal workflows.

Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted research advisor to understand client goals and suggest appropriate methodologies, sampling strategies, and study designs
- Oversee research projects from initial scoping and setup through data gathering, quality checks, analysis, and reporting
- Lead client interactions, offer expert direction, address expectations, and resolve methodological challenges
- Create and configure studies utilizing Qualtrics and Prolific
- Perform quantitative analysis, interpret data, and present clear recommendations to clients
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Supply teams to foster new opportunities and optimize research workflows
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience designing and executing complex research initiatives within a consultancy, managed services unit, market research agency, or corporate research group
- Proven background in guiding clients regarding research methodology, study design, and sampling techniques
- Solid quantitative research and analytical capabilities, including statistical analysis and insight translation
- Experience managing multiple client-facing projects concurrently while balancing timelines and stakeholder expectations
- Familiarity with research platforms like Qualtrics and data analysis instruments such as R, Python, or SPSS
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset
Qualifications
- Strong academic research background featuring a PhD or equivalent research experience
- Experience conducting research within both academic and commercial sectors
- Background in qualitative research or establishing scalable research procedures and best practices
