About Robo Reliance

We keep robots running. Robo Reliance is an early-stage, fast-growing robotics field services company providing installation, preventive maintenance, break-fix repair, and remote support for commercial, industrial, and home robots across the United States. We service warehouse robots and AMRs, food service, cleaning, delivery, security and hospitality, healthcare, and industrial automation robots, humanoid robots, and more.

We work independently of any one robot maker and partner with robotics companies that need a nationwide field service team. As new client deployments open, we build local technician teams in those markets. Technicians are trained and certified on each client’s platform before dispatch.

The Opportunity

We are building a nationwide network of skilled technicians. This is a standing posting - apply once, and we will keep your information on file and reach out when we have work in your area.

This role is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills who wants flexible, project-based work to supplement their income, rather than replace a full-time job.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain autonomous, humanoid, and industrial robotic systems
  • Install and set up robots at client sites
  • Perform preventive maintenance and respond to service calls
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues
  • Work directly with customers in a professional, on-site setting
  • Document service work, findings, and repairs clearly and accurately
  • Complete platform training and certification for each client’s robots

Requirements

  • MANDATORY: You must carry your own General Liability and Workers’ Compensation insurance and provide proof of both before you can be onboarded or dispatched
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical equipment
  • Reliable transportation to client sites in your area
  • Able to work independently and represent the company professionally
  • Basic computer skills for diagnostics, software tools, and service documentation
  • Able to work as a 1099 independent contractor with flexible, varying hours

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with robots, AMRs, warehouse automation, or other advanced automated systems
  • Field service, robotics maintenance, mechatronics, industrial maintenance, or electromechanical background
  • Certifications from robot or equipment manufacturers
  • Training from a robotics, automation, electronics, or technician trade program, or military technical training
  • Experience with PLCs, sensors, motors, drives, or control systems

Equivalent hands-on experience is highly valued. Platform training is provided.

Why Join Robo Reliance?

  • $70/hour with flexible, part-time 1099 work close to home
  • Training and certification on new robotics platforms
  • Exposure to a wide range of robots across manufacturers
  • Opportunity to grow alongside an expanding robotics services company
  • Direct access to the founders and early leadership

Ready to join our nationwide network? Apply today, and we will reach out when work opens up in your area.
