The Safety Trainer is tasked with managing onboarding activities, leading Safety Riding Seminars, processing driver accreditations, and executing driver training programs. This role maintains training records, tracks processing targets, and collaborates closely with operations and safety departments to elevate road safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Safety Riding Seminars and onboarding sessions for new drivers
- Deliver training materials and procedures in line with company guidelines
- Evaluate rider comprehension regarding safety protocols, road regulations, and operations
- Handle driver accreditation and onboarding tasks following training completion
- Keep precise logs of attendance, training outcomes, and processed drivers
- Track and support the fulfillment of onboarding and processing objectives
- Partner with Operations and Safety divisions regarding rider readiness and deployment
- Encourage a strong culture of safety and adherence among all drivers
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience facilitating Safety Riding Seminars or driver training programs
- Valid LTO Professional Driver’s License covering 2-wheel and 4-wheel vehicles
- TESDA Driving NC II certification
- Completed 40-hour Basic Occupational Safety and Health training
- Experience driving both motorcycles and four-wheel vehicles
- Solid understanding of defensive driving and road safety concepts
- Comprehensive knowledge of Philippine traffic laws and compliance
- Background in executing rider performance evaluations
- Proficiency in Google Workspace tools including Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms
- Ownership of a personal motorcycle
- Worthiness to travel or be assigned to various locations based on business needs
