Google Fiber is seeking a Sales Operations Manager to support its expanding Field Sales channels. In this remote, full-time position, the professional will manage complex workflows, oversee business-as-usual processes, and scale newly incubated programs. The person in this role will take charge of sales representative hiring, compensation structures, incentive programs, performance policies, tool development, supplier partnerships, and business intelligence. Responsibilities include managing Field Sales budgets, collaborating with engineering stakeholders on system enhancements, building custom tools, and analyzing data using SQL and Salesforce. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee interdependent workflows supporting Field Sales channels
- Handle business-as-usual operations regarding sales rep hiring, compensation plans, and incentive programs
- Partner with HR to adjust performance management processes and policies for business needs
- Monitor Field Sales budgets and headcount approvals to meet sales targets
- Collaborate with sales channel leads and engineering teams to prioritize sales system enhancements
- Build custom tools to support business processes, projects, and pilots
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards using Salesforce, internal systems, and SQL
- Manage budgets and relationships with vendors providing business intelligence data and sales tools
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Six years of background in sales engineering, sales enablement, or sales operations
- Intermediate proficiency in SQL and Python
- Advanced expertise in Google Sheets or Excel
- Experience utilizing the Salesforce platform to drive business decisions
Qualifications
- Master of Business Administration degree or equivalent practical experience
- Seven years of experience working in a telecom or SaaS sales organization
- Background in sales operations within a frontline sales business unit
- Familiarity with CRM migrations or integrations
- Experience implementing reporting structures to back key business initiatives
