The Sampling Plant Manager for the DBT Richards Bay operation at SGS leads sampling and sample preparation work. The role assigns and checks work, keeps staff competent through training and witnessing, and maintains SANAS and OHSAS accreditation. Responsibilities
- Assign, check and oversee sampling and sample preparation work
- Train, witness and declare staff competent for their tasks
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of sampling and preparation experience, preferably in coal
- Working knowledge of laboratory practice in line with ISO 17025
- Fluent in English and computer literate
