Job Description
Meesho's security team is looking for a hands-on Security Architect in Bengaluru to lead its AI-powered security engineering work. The post is an individual contributor role that links traditional DevSecOps and infrastructure protection with newer AI tooling, including the systems AI agents and code assistants touch.
The architect improves the AI-assisted development lifecycle by designing protections that keep human engineers and AI coding agents on secure paths by default. The stated aim is to keep application and data security failures that reach production close to zero.
Work covers setting the technical roadmap for AI security architecture, building proofs of concept for autonomous agent harnesses that catch and reduce vulnerabilities in real time, and running adversarial exercises against APIs, AI systems and infrastructure. A large part of the job is red teaming, using large language models to strengthen defenses, and guarding against prompt injection attacks, data exfiltration and jailbreak attempts.
The architect also designs a zero-trust identity layer, so every access request from people and autonomous agents is time-limited, least-privileged and continually checked. The role mentors security engineers and collaborates with ML, DevOps and platform groups. The posting asks for ten-plus years of practical work, deep AWS or GCP and container skills, and proficiency in Java, Node.js and Python.
Responsibilities
- Set the direction for AI security architecture, covering prevention, detection and autonomous containment
- Build proofs of concept for agent harnesses that spot and address vulnerabilities as they happen
- Architect non-bypassable guardrails across the SDLC for developers and AI coding agents
- Run adversarial tests that mimic real attacks on APIs, AI systems and infrastructure
- Build deep defenses that guard AI agents and experimental features against misuse and unauthorized actions
- Design a zero-trust identity layer that treats no identity as trusted by default, for people and agents alike
- Mentor security engineers and advise across the organization on architecture
- Coordinate with ML, DevOps and platform groups to promote secure coding without formal reporting lines
Requirements
- Ten-plus years of practical work spanning infrastructure protection, application security, systems design and DevSecOps
- Documented results using code-writing agents and language models to speed security work and test GenAI systems
- Experience guarding models against jailbreak attempts, adversarial ML abuse and hallucination hazards
- Deep hands-on skill with AWS or GCP security tooling, Docker and container technology
- Proficiency in Java, Node.js and Python, plus hands-on securing of production code and manual source code review
- Skill in building platform features that are secure by default, so services inherit baseline protection automatically
- Strong threat modeling skill for AI native and distributed designs
Qualifications
- Credentials such as GWAPT or OffSec WEB-300
- Familiarity with AI security frameworks such as MITRE ATLAS and NIST AI RMF
- Bug bounty experience, or having spoken at meetups or conferences
- Experience building security products and frameworks
