This role suits professionals with a background in financial management operations who hold an active Secret security clearance. The selected candidate will handle accounting tasks, manage fund reconciliations, draft standard operating procedures, and propose cost reduction strategies.
Responsibilities
- Record commitments and obligations in accordance with Department of Defense, DSCA, and CCMD regulations
- Prepare and update execution data calls for program managers, sponsors, and comptrollers
- Gather, track, and analyze commitment, obligation, and expenditure data from accounting systems
- Reconcile and resolve undistributed disbursements, unmatched transactions, and negative unliquidated obligations
- Generate reports for DSCA CCMD end-users using government-provided systems
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and process maps for CCMD programs in DAI
- Draft corrective action plans and implement complimentary user entity controls in response to audit findings
- Validate contractor pay, process contractor invoices on federal forms, and resolve payment rejects and interest penalties
- Conduct risk and internal control assessments to achieve milestone objectives
Requirements
- Hold US citizenship
- Possess an active Secret level clearance
- Bring a minimum of five years of experience supporting financial management business operations
- Demonstrate fluency in MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, or relevant experience in lieu of a degree
