In this role, the engineer will concentrate on threat intelligence, threat detection, threat hunting, and event triage. The position requires a professional eager to build agentic and automated security operations where routine tasks are handled by artificial intelligence tools, allowing engineers to tackle complex objectives. • Translate raw intelligence into automated response actions, runbooks, and detection-as-code models
  • Construct internal tooling and automation code by leveraging AI coding agents and applying sound engineering judgment
  • Collaborate across internal teams to document workflows and share knowledge
  • Take part in a rotating on-call schedule to handle off-hours incident response

Requirements

  • Possess either a high school diploma with at least 5 years of relevant experience, a bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree
  • Demonstrate experience triaging events with an emphasis on technical accuracy and timely escalation
  • Understand common attack vectors, core networking, TCP/IP, authentication, and authorization principles
  • Bring hands-on experience building tooling or automation via AI agents and large language models
  • Apply scripting languages such as Python to security operations or general workflow automation

Qualifications

  • Hold incident handling certifications including GCFA or GCIH
  • Bring prior background utilizing security technologies like SIEM, EDR, and DLP
  • Show familiarity with agentic assistants and coding tools such as Claude Code, OpenCode, and Amazon Quick

Core Skills

Benefits

  • Group medical insurance options featuring a zero-deductible PPO plan or a high-deductible health plan with HSA contributions
  • Group dental insurance coverage
  • Twelve corporate holidays and a flexible time off program
  • Allowances for home internet and mobile phones
  • Retirement plan eligibility after two months at open enrollment
