Green Fuel is seeking a Semi-Skilled Boiler Maker to join the Fabrication Department at their location. In this role, the successful candidate will report directly to the Fabrication Chargehand and handle various welding, construction, refurbishment, and repair tasks.
The job involves working on diverse equipment and systems, including haul bins, tipper bins, harvester infield and workshop repairs, water tanks, procurement trailers, recovery truck and three-ton truck bin floors, yellow machine buckets, and agricultural trailers. Responsibilities also encompass hard-facing wearable harvester components and constructing a new Billet Plant system.
This opportunity suits trade-tested individuals or engineering certificate holders with practical mechanical experience who can interpret technical drawings and operate with minimal oversight.
Responsibilities
- Construct, refurbish, and maintain haul bins and tipper bins
- Support harvester repairs in both the workshop and the field
- Build water tanks and a new Billet Plant system for agricultural and trailer needs
- Fabricate a new fertigation trailer system for multi-span pivots
- Maintain and repair procurement trailers
- Fabricate new bin floors for recovery trucks and three-ton trucks
- Repair and rebuild yellow machine buckets such as loaders and excavators
- Perform hard-facing on all wearable harvester parts
- Execute any other related duties assigned by management
Requirements
- At least one year of working experience
- Ability to accurately read and interpret user manuals and drawings
- Capacity to work effectively with little or no supervision
- Ability to function well as a team player
Qualifications
- Class 2 or Class 3 trade tested status
- Certificate in Fabrication Engineering
