Job Description

TheyDo is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join its fully remote North American sales team. Operating in a greenfield territory, this role focuses on securing net-new enterprise logos and driving revenue for an AI-powered journey management platform. The ideal candidate thrives on outbound prospecting, building pipeline independently, and closing mid-to-high six-figure deals with C-level and VP buyers across digital, product, and customer experience sectors.

Reporting to Natalie, the successful applicant will work alongside a collaborative group of account executives, business development representatives, enablement specialists, and customer success teams. This position is built around new-business generation rather than managing an existing client base or handling incoming leads. Team members enjoy autonomy, flexible working hours, and comprehensive wellness and health benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Own a designated list of North American enterprise accounts to target new business opportunities
  • Source a majority of the pipeline through outbound prospecting, executive networking, events, and account-based strategies with marketing and BDR colleagues
  • Manage multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial outreach through discovery, business case creation, procurement, and contract signing
  • Engage C-level and VP buyers across customer experience, product, and digital departments to sell platform value
  • Secure mid-to-high six-figure initial agreements structured for future expansion and transition them to Customer Success
  • Contribute to the North American sales playbook by refining messaging, ideal customer profiles, and sales motions
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain team communication through asynchronous updates

Requirements

  • Have at least 4 years of experience closing B2B software-as-a-service deals, primarily in enterprise new-business roles targeting large North American organizations
  • Demonstrate a consistent history of surpassing annual quotas through self-sourced net-new client revenue
  • Prove the ability to secure mid-to-high six-figure initial transactions with previously unmanaged enterprise accounts
  • Bring experience selling a new-category product or platform that required generating market demand rather than fulfilling requests for proposals
  • Utilize a formalized value-selling methodology such as Command of the Message or MEDDPICC
  • Demonstrate confidence in navigating complex enterprise procurement, security, and legal processes while building stakeholder consensus

Qualifications

  • Experience selling solutions directly to leaders in customer experience, product, digital, or design fields

Core Skills

Benefits

  • Competitive financial compensation and pre-IPO stock options
  • Health insurance benefits tailored for employees regardless of location
  • Minimum of 25 days of paid holiday per year in addition to public holidays
  • Three-day company-wide winter shutdown in December
  • Dedicated learning and development financial budget
  • Wellbeing budget supporting mindfulness, meditation, gym memberships, or yoga
  • Paid parental leave providing six months for primary caregivers and six weeks for secondary caregivers
  • Paid childcare leave for family recovery needs
  • Home office or co-working space financial support
  • Company retreats and team gatherings held internationally
  • Choice of latest technology equipment including MacBook Air or Pro
