Job Description
Clearlink is hiring a Senior Account Manager for a remote, full-time post overseeing a set of partner relationships. The role is tied to the partner portfolio that The Penny Hoarder operates, which spans financial services and other consumer verticals. Banking, card issuers, lending, insurance and investing are top priorities. The job blends relationship building with analysis and deal-making, aimed at expanding revenue and margin over the long term.
Responsibilities include advising partners with performance data, spotting ways to earn more from each relationship, and widening partnerships into new products, channels, sponsorships and flat-fee arrangements. The manager would review outcomes by offer, placement and traffic source, push for better pricing, payouts, budgets and terms, and run periodic partner check-ins that end with specific next steps. Coordination with paid media, yield, editorial, product and operations groups is part of the work. The manager is expected to raise significant changes in results early, keep reporting and account records accurate, and share practices that help colleagues.
The posting asks for five or more years of direct client work in account management or partnerships, or in business development, ideally with a record of growing accounts. Affiliate or performance marketing background is listed, and financial services experience is strongly preferred. Working fluency with CPA, CPL, CPC and flat-fee pricing models is needed, together with sharp analytical and communication abilities. Familiarity with TUNE or similar tracking tools is a bonus.
