The role manages key merchant accounts with tailored payment solutions, onboards strategic merchants across industries, builds relationships with senior executives, and negotiates merchant discount rates and partnership terms. It also plans partner events and marketing initiatives and reports on account performance and market trends.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow key merchant accounts with tailored payment solutions.
- Identify, approach and onboard new strategic merchants across industries.
- Plan partner events, financial literacy sessions and trade activations.
- Monitor account performance and produce insight reports to support decisions.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years in business development and account management across different industries.
- Track record of generating leads and supporting client acquisition.
- Working knowledge of fiat payment networks and existing client relationships in that space.
- Results-driven, with a record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
Qualifications
- Ability to speak and understand Mandarin Chinese is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and a collaborative team player.
- Ability to coordinate with international partners and stakeholders.
