  • Analyze plant and customer/contract profitability and partner with operations on margin drivers
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong documentation and internal controls
  • Reconcile and value inventory (raw materials, components, WIP, finished goods); investigate cycle-count and physical-inventory discrepancies and support reserve analysis
  • Support the annual budget, forecasting, and standard cost setting process
  • Assist with external audit, tax, and PE reporting deliverables, preparing schedules and responding to requests
  • Assist with standard cost accounting: maintain BOMs and routings, execute standard cost rolls, and analyze purchase price, material usage, labor, and overhead variances
  • Drive process improvements and help optimize use of the ERP system

Required Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience,

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA (or actively pursuing)
  • Experience with manufacturing cost accounting
  • Understanding standard costing in an inventory-intensive environment
  • Experience in cosmetics, personal care, food, pharma, or another regulated manufacturing industry
  • Experience with multi-plant or multi-entity operations
  • Exposure to a private equity–backed or high-growth environment

Physical Requirements

  • Primarily office-based work environment during regular business hours.
  • Frequent use of a computer, phone, and standard office equipment.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds (files, binders, or office materials).

Benefits:
