The organization is seeking a Senior AI Developer to join the Product Ops team remotely. In this capacity, the individual will help expand automation beyond code into briefs, specifications, design, launches, and measurement. The position involves designing and shipping production-ready multi-agent systems, establishing shared architectural standards, ensuring observability and security, and collaborating closely with product managers and other engineering teams.
This role is suited for a technical professional experienced in the agent development lifecycle, non-deterministic system evaluation, and collaborative tool building. The environment is fast-paced, emphasizing iterative shipping, daily AI tool usage, and comfort with early-stage project ambiguity. Candidates will have the opportunity to shape foundational architectures and build production standards that support multiple product lines.
Responsibilities

- Manage production quality, including security, cost controls, testing, and observability with human approval gates
- Co-design systems with Product Managers by reviewing existing workflows, automating tasks, and iterating based on user testing
- Track metrics such as time saved, time from customer signal to decisions, and cost per agent and feature
- Share agent development practices to enable the broader team to build, run, and improve agents independently
Requirements
- Demonstrated production engineering experience across the complete agent development lifecycle
- Hands-on background designing and deploying multi-agent systems involving orchestration, tools, context, and memory
- Experience integrating systems with platforms like Slack, Atlassian tools, and MCP
- Familiarity with instrumenting and evaluating non-deterministic systems through evaluations, regression testing, cost tracking, and observability
- Architectural decision-making skills balancing reliability, security, and cost across different AI models
- Experience creating tools or components that are adopted by others
- Daily use of AI-assisted development tools with a critical and builder-focused mindset
Qualifications
- Prior product management experience
- Background working on B2B SaaS, HR, or IT products
