The company is currently hiring a Senior AI Engineer to work on the Orbit product.
This remote position involves technical leadership over the architecture and progression of an AI agent platform. The professional will create orchestration systems, tool integrations, and knowledge retrieval mechanisms while enforcing strict security, data isolation, governance, and traceability. Additionally, the role requires advancing team engineering standards by encouraging specification-driven development and the structured application of coding agents.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for the architecture and evolution of the AI agent platform
- Build orchestration solutions, tool integrations, and knowledge retrieval mechanisms
- Implement evaluation, observability, and continuous enhancement practices for agent quality, reliability, and cost
- Maintain security, data governance, traceability, and data isolation across all solutions
- Advance team engineering methods by encouraging specification-driven development and structured coding agent utilization
Requirements
- Proficiency in TypeScript or solid background in another typed language with fast adaptation capabilities
- Demonstrated experience in the architecture and operation of distributed systems and production APIs
- Practical background using production Large Language Models and AI agents, encompassing tool calling, context management, and behavior evaluation
- Command of AI-assisted engineering methodologies including specifications, testing, critical review, and incremental delivery
- Capacity to drive architectural decisions, weigh trade-offs, and maintain technical accountability
- Strong autonomy, critical thinking, and aptitude for managing complex issues and ambiguous requirements
Qualifications
- Familiarity with NestJS, hexagonal architecture, and protocols such as MCP
- Background in observability, evaluation, and security frameworks for LLM-based systems
- Experience working with B2B SaaS, multi-tenancy models, and data protection laws like LGPD
- History of building internal frameworks and tooling to speed up engineering groups
