Vanta is looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to establish the groundwork for a top-tier analytics operation. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with the data science team and business stakeholders to guarantee that the current analytics stack and processes satisfy business needs while keeping future scalability in mind. Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex data models supporting dashboards, self-serve analytics, and data science teams
- Write highly tuned and scalable SQL queries operating over large-scale, heterogeneous data warehouses
- Enable AI tooling through semantic layers and observability while guiding analytics functions on best practices
- Manage and improve data infrastructure required for data-driven decision-making solutions
- Help develop front end applications to expose analytical data sets across the enterprise
- Collaborate with Product and Corporate Engineering system teams to structure source systems for reporting consumption
Requirements
- Have at least eight years of experience working with data
- Bring two years of experience in Software Engineering or a related field
- Possess experience with common analytics tooling including dbt, Stitch or Fivetran, Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift, Airflow, Dagster, and Looker, Mode or Sigma
- Demonstrate deep knowledge in crafting dimensional and fact models in a modern data fashion
- Be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
