Immersive Labs is hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer - UK (Remote) to join its established UK Engineering team. In this fully remote position reporting to an Engineering Manager, the professional will help build the Immersive One platform by shaping analytics and data workflows across the organization's system landscape.
This role suits a driven, curious, and collaborative technologist who enjoys working in multidisciplinary agile teams. The position requires cooperating closely with data analysts, data engineers, and software engineers to create, maintain, and refactor analytical data models within the data warehouse. Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality datasets that enable engineers to construct reliable customer-facing reporting
- Collaborate closely with engineering peers to evaluate and reduce the impact of upstream product modifications
- Develop semantic layers for business intelligence by applying appropriate domain knowledge
- Lead various team initiatives focused on data quality, model optimization, and observability
- Mentor junior engineers by teaching them the software development lifecycle and established engineering best practices
Requirements
- Proficiency in transforming, testing, and documenting data while sustaining reliable data lineage
- Knowledge of data access, data storage, and data modeling techniques
- Experience applying software engineering best practices such as continuous integration and version control
- Strong command of SQL within cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, along with familiarity with window functions, data partitioning, and performance optimization

Qualifications
