This full-time Senior Associate Video Editor role at InMobi is based in Bengaluru. The position is an expert editing job that turns raw footage into sharp, engaging video in both long and short formats. The editor takes each project from the brief and first cut through to a polished final version, and identifies the strongest narrative inside the material.
The range of content is broad: brand films, leadership videos, interviews, podcasts, keynotes, employer brand pieces, social content and internal communications. The editor also cuts event recaps, presenter clips, attendee soundbites, session footage and aftermovies, often against tight timelines when material must go live the same day. Turning longer pieces into clips for LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and X, with captions and graphics, is part of the job.
Motion graphics are another part of the role. The editor builds animated type, titles, lower thirds, intros, outros and transitions, working mainly in After Effects, and handles simple thumbnail and supporting visual design. The editor organizes footage, project files, exports and archives, keeps backups, and sources stock footage, music and sound effects when needed.
The posting calls for expert-level Adobe Premiere Pro, strong After Effects skills, and working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator. Understanding color correction, audio mixing, sound design, codecs and export settings is expected, along with a sharp eye for storytelling, pacing, composition, typography and music. Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished long-form and short-form videos for brand, leadership, event, social and internal use
- Own each edit from the first cut to final delivery
- Produce short social cuts for LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and X with captions and graphics
- Create motion graphics, animated type, titles, lower thirds, intros, outros and transitions
- Cut event recaps, presenter moments, session footage and aftermovies on compressed schedules
- Organize footage, project files, versions and archives, and keep backups
- Source stock footage, music and sound effects when required
- Manage several edits at once while keeping quality and consistency
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects
- Good working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
- Understanding of color correction, grading, audio mixing, sound design, codecs and export settings
- A strong instinct for narrative flow, rhythm, framing, type and score
- Ability to take an edit independently from raw footage to final delivery
- Ability to work within brand guidelines and handle tight timelines
- A portfolio or showreel is mandatory
Qualifications
- Experience shooting interviews, events, podcasts or social content is a good-to-have
- Knowledge of cameras, lighting, framing, audio and basic production setups is a good-to-have
- Past collaboration with brand clients, agencies, production companies or creative groups
