The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on proficiency in building secure application logic, designing APIs, and integrating various data storage systems. Responsibilities
- Design and build robust, secure, and scalable backend applications with Node.js and Nest.js
- Build microservices architectures, GraphQL endpoints, and RESTful APIs
- Enhance the scalability, performance, and maintainability of applications
- Connect external services via APIs and integrate with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Maintain high industry standards for security, compliance, and code quality
Requirements
- At least 5 years of working experience with Node.js
- At least 3 years of past experience with Nest.js
- Demonstrated history of building REST and GraphQL APIs
- Deep knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript starting from ES6+
- Practical background using relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL
- Familiarity with OAuth2 and JWT authentication and authorization protocols
- Experience performing unit and integration testing with tools like Mocha or Jest
- Strong proficiency in Git and version control practices
- Reside within the CET timezone, plus or minus three hours

- Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms including GCP, Azure, and AWS
- Familiarity with DevOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines
