The organization is currently seeking a Senior Consultant and Project Lead (Sage Intacct) to operate remotely within the United States on a full-time basis.
In this client-facing capacity, the professional will manage end-to-end software deployments from discovery through post-launch phases while guiding internal project teams and mentoring junior staff. Beyond technical setups involving general ledgers and multi-entity consolidations, the role requires partnering directly with high-level financial officers such as controllers and chief financial officers to optimize accounting operations and design robust financial reporting structures. Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Sage Intacct deployments for multi-unit hospitality clients from the initial discovery phase through go-live and post-launch stabilization
- Partner directly with financial leadership to align business objectives with financial system design and long-term optimization
- Configure core system modules including general ledger, accounts payable, cash management, fixed assets, and multi-entity consolidations
- Develop custom dashboards, financial reports, and unit-level performance views utilizing native reporting functions
- Oversee project delivery teams as a player-coach by monitoring work quality, setting timelines, and mentoring junior consultants
- Conduct periodic check-ins with existing clients for workflow consulting, system enhancements, and optimization reviews
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor degree in finance or accounting
- Bring at least five years of hands-on Sage Intacct implementation experience with full-cycle project ownership
- Demonstrate deep expertise in system functionality, design principles, chart of accounts setup, and dimension structures
- Possess advanced understanding of accounting principles, financial close procedures, and workflow optimization
- Exhibit executive presence and communication skills suitable for peer-level interactions with chief financial officers
- Maintain a secure home workspace with high-speed internet access of at least 100 Mbps and authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Qualifications
- Prior work history within the restaurant or hospitality sector
- Experience operating as a chief financial officer, controller, or director of finance
