Job Description
Nordic Global is looking for a senior consultant with hands-on MEDITECH experience to act as the go-to specialist for client work. The consultant advises clients on MEDITECH-related projects and aims to deliver solutions that produce measurable benefits. The role is full-time and remote.
Much of the work is solution delivery for Nordic clients, where the consultant contributes to system builds, rollouts, strategic planning and readiness reviews. The consultant works through problems in individual client builds, studies and records workflows, and proposes improvements. Other duties include coaching client project teams on delivery and build strategy, keeping records of open risks and problems, and maintaining documentation for each assigned application.
On a typical engagement, the consultant holds stakeholder interviews, prepares gap analyses and recommendations, and helps assemble a summary report for the client. The consultant also follows change management procedures, plans and runs testing for supported applications, and takes on ad hoc project work. Some consultants could be asked to take the lead on Nordic work, drawing on the skills in the Project Lead role.
Communication matters in this role. The consultant needs to work well with project leaders, managers, end users and vendors, and takes direction on assignments from the VP and the Practice Director.
Responsibilities
- Provide consulting services on MEDITECH projects for Nordic clients
- Act as subject matter expert in assigned MEDITECH domain areas
- Contribute to system builds, rollouts, roadmap planning and readiness reviews
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems in individual client system builds
- Coach client project teams on delivery and build strategy
- Keep records of open risks and problems
- Study workflows and recommend optimizations
- Hold stakeholder interviews and build gap analyses and summary reports for clients
- Follow change management protocols and maintain documentation for each application
- Plan and run testing for supported applications
- Take on ad hoc corporate initiatives as directed
Requirements
- At least three years working directly in MEDITECH IT
- Strong communication skills and a serious work ethic
