OLLY PBC, part of the VMS Co-Op alongside SmartyPants within the Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements sector, is looking for a Senior Contract Manufacturing Manager. This remote, full-time position handles supplier relationship management, supply network understanding across the supply chain, and business negotiations for a designated product category. The person in this role will build and execute a three-year plan supporting the category supply base strategy, serve as an escalation point for cross-functional partners, support new supplier sourcing events, and achieve cost savings objectives. Additional duties involve organizing supplier business reviews, establishing key performance indicators with finance, supply chain, and sales teams, negotiating supply agreements, maintaining a contract database, coordinating with finance regarding payment terms and costs, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
This opportunity is well-suited for an experienced supply chain and supplier management professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and communicates effectively across departments. The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $157,850 per year, determined by experience and location, and candidates must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Manage and take accountability for contract manufacturing partners within an assigned product category
- Develop and execute a three-year plan to support the supply base strategy for the designated category
- Serve as the go-to escalation point for cross-functional teams to resolve business deliverables
- Support sourcing events for new suppliers to meet innovation, service, capacity, and cost goals
- Achieve established cost savings targets and lead supplier business reviews
- Establish key performance indicators for primary suppliers using input from finance, supply chain, and sales
- Negotiate and execute supply agreements while keeping contract metrics updated in the database
- Collaborate with finance teams to verify accuracy of standard costs, payment terms, PPV, and invoicing
- Contribute to continuous improvement processes for the operations team
Requirements
- Five to seven or more years of progressive supply chain management experience within the consumer packaged goods industry
- Proven background in negotiations, contracts, and agreements
- Experience owning and managing a complex end-to-end supply chain
- Background in planning, logistics, and customer service
- Technical gummy experience
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
