This regional position requires candidates to reside in Texas or possess extensive expertise in the local educational technology market, including familiarity with Texas Education Agency and State Board of Education dynamics. Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of 50 to 75 mid-market school districts to maintain Net Revenue Retention targets through seat expansion and strategic price increases
- Drive active product adoption by delivering implementation strategies, training sessions, and supportive materials like tutorials and one-pagers
- Identify at-risk accounts and execute intervention playbooks, such as 90-day action plans for high-stakes renewals, to control gross churn rates
- Conduct structured discovery sessions across multiple district roles to align platform solutions with the distinct priorities of each persona
- Build long-term trust with executive leadership through consultative selling and data-driven storytelling
- Contribute insights to the Customer Success playbook, participate in cross-functional strategy meetings, and mentor junior team members
Requirements
- Bring three to seven years of individual contributor experience managing mid-market or enterprise accounts within a software-as-a-service environment, ideally in educational technology
- Demonstrate a track record of meeting or exceeding net revenue retention and gross revenue retention targets
- Possess direct experience handling commercial discussions regarding renewals, pricing, and expansion
- Demonstrate proficiency with Salesforce or a comparable customer relationship management tool
- Be willing to travel within Texas up to 30 percent of the time as needed
Qualifications
