The company is currently hiring a Senior CX Platform Engineer to build and maintain artificial intelligence applications and agentic workflows for customer experience teams.
This position focuses heavily on software engineering rather than internal IT tasks or billable consulting. The person in this role will use coding agents as a primary development environment to design multi-step workflows, build Model Context Protocol servers, and manage AWS infrastructure. The ideal candidate has strong production software experience, daily hands-on familiarity with coding agents, and proficiency in Python and TypeScript.

Responsibilities
- Utilize coding agents as the primary development environment for planning, coding, testing, and documentation.
- Build and maintain agent harnesses, including shared conventions, skills, slash commands, and hooks.
- Ship agents and multi-step workflows for account research, success planning, and customer onboarding.
- Develop Model Context Protocol servers and connectors for enterprise systems such as Salesforce and Snowflake.
- Manage and evolve Amazon Web Services infrastructure, Terraform configurations, and application gateways.
- Write production-quality Python and TypeScript code delivered through continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prototype applications quickly and turn field learning into reusable patterns.
- Mentor engineers and non-engineers on agentic development practices.
Requirements
- Experience building and operating production software from ambiguity to production.
- Daily, hands-on experience using coding agents on production work.
- Experience building with large language models beyond chat, including tool use and agent loops.
- Strong Python skills with FastAPI or Flask, and TypeScript skills with Vue or React.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services, Terraform, Docker, and single sign-on applications.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems through REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Proficiency with Git, merge requests, and CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
- Experience with agent harness customization.
- Familiarity with the GitLab Development Kit, Duo Agent Platform custom agents, or AI Catalog publishing.
- Knowledge of enterprise agent governance and data controls.
- Background in customer success, professional services, or learning platforms.
- Experience with data warehouses like Snowflake.
- History of technical writing, public speaking, or open source contributions related to agentic development.
