Data Coach is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join its Data Engineering team on a full-time, remote basis. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end data architectures and pipelines for enterprise clients

- Collaborate alongside cross-functional engineering, analytics, and platform teams during client engagements
- Provide technical guidance during design reviews, code evaluations, proofs-of-concept, and workshops

Requirements
- Minimum of four years of professional experience working as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer building production-ready data solutions
- Expertise in programming with Python and/or Scala for data processing, orchestration, and automation
- Hands-on proficiency with core cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or Databricks
- Advanced SQL skills encompassing the ability to write, debug, and optimize complex queries
- Professional consulting background delivering client projects in a professional services setting
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills for client-facing and internal interactions
Qualifications
- Four-year Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related academic discipline
- Production background working with cloud storage systems like S3, ADLS, HDFS, GCS, or NoSQL databases
- Experience implementing modern streaming and integration technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Fivetran, or Azure Data Factory
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools including Airflow, Luigi, or NiFi
- Prior exposure to automated data curation and transformation using dbt or Spark Streaming
