Job Description

Responsibilities

• Partner with product squads to enhance user acquisition, activation, retention, monetization, and customer experience
• Collaborate with marketing, finance, and operations to identify growth opportunities and drive business decisions
• Promote experimentation and decision frameworks to support rapid iteration
• Establish KPIs and success metrics for teams to measure outcomes
• Apply statistical analysis, forecasting, causal inference, and machine learning to evaluate user behavior and performance
• Analyze user journeys, conversion funnels, and financial data to find high-impact opportunities
• Shape company and squad priorities by providing data-backed insights on tradeoffs and return on investment
• Develop dashboards, predictive models, and self-serve tools to increase visibility into business performance
• Work with the wider data team to maintain a reliable shared data layer
• Encourage evidence-based decision-making and curiosity throughout the organization

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in growth analytics, experimentation, data science, or related fields within fast-growing settings
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL
• Demonstrated expertise in experimentation, statistical analysis, causal inference, forecasting, and KPI creation
• Strong product and business intuition connecting user actions to company results
• Experience cooperating cross-functionally with product, marketing, finance, or operations departments
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple detailed projects from conception to completion
• Strong communication skills with the capability to influence stakeholders using data
• Familiarity with dashboarding and data visualization tools
• Fluency in English

Qualifications

• Background in consumer startups or high-growth environments
• Familiarity with product analytics and experimentation platforms such as Amplitude, Statsig, and Posthog
• Experience utilizing Snowflake, dbt, and modern data stacks
• Background in customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing, or growth modeling
• Familiarity with the Shakepay product or status as an existing customer
• Interest in Bitcoin and non-sovereign currency
