JF Talent Consulting Group (Global) is recruiting a Senior Designer Engineer specializing in BIM and E&M Control Systems for its client, a Europe-headquartered automated waste collection solution provider with 60 years of market presence, 35 global offices, and more than 1,200 installations worldwide. The Hong Kong branch operates across Asia with a 20-year track record, managing over 10 systems for smart cities, government buildings, healthcare facilities, airports, and commercial properties. This position requires supporting the Design Team Technical Manager with project management and coordination.
The person in this role will handle system designs, including CAD drawings, product specifications, and detailed product documentation, alongside reviewing and modifying designs to meet precise features. Collaboration with the Project Team is essential for tracking development, reporting, execution, and delivery control, while offering professional design guidance.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Technical Manager of the Design Team in managing and coordinating design projects
- Handle system design tasks including CAD design, product specifications, and detailed product drawings
- Review, design, and modify systems to achieve required features and specifications
- Collaborate closely with the Project Team on specific project plans, development, progress tracking, reporting, and delivery control
- Provide professional advice from a design perspective
Requirements
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of practical design experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, BIM modeling using Revit, and AutoCAD
- Strong command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Hardworking, responsible, and capable of working independently and under pressure to handle tight schedules
Qualifications
- Diploma in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related equivalent
