This 100% remote role across India involves working with global teams to shape DevOps practices across multiple portfolio companies. The position is ideal for a professional who can handle both architecture and execution in a dynamic, fast-paced engineering environment. Responsibilities
- Collaborate across global teams to shape DevOps practices spanning multiple portfolio companies
- Design and manage infrastructure strategy, cloud architecture, and operations in high-impact environments
- Run clear knowledge transfer and handoff sessions backed by strong documentation habits
- Operate within an Agile, iterative delivery model
Requirements
- Minimum of seven years of hands-on production AWS infrastructure experience, including building environments from scratch and maintaining existing setups
- Strong knowledge of AWS networking such as VPC, subnets, NAT/Internet Gateways, routing, Security Groups, and NACLs
- Experience utilizing AWS security services including IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, CloudTrail, Config, GuardDuty, and Security Hub
- Experience provisioning and managing RDS databases like MSSQL and PostgreSQL
- Experience with EC2, ALB, ACM, Route 53, and AWS WAF
- Windows Server administration skills covering AD, IIS configuration, licensing, PowerShell scripting, and basic OS hardening
- Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot third-party Windows-based software and connectivity issues
- Familiarity with .NET and Python runtime environments on Windows
- Experience setting up monitoring and alerting using CloudWatch or similar tools
- Production experience and knowledge of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Experience with Datadog, Grafana, or Akamai CDN
- Ability to work with a requirement of plus two hours of US time zone overlap
Qualifications
- Familiarity with Azure, CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins, or Mux Enterprise
- Proficiency in Python or Go for scripting and automation
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Helm, or advanced EKS scaling
- Previous work background in consulting or multi-client environments
