Duetto is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, construct, and manage the cloud infrastructure supporting its Revenue & Profit Operating System. Operating continuously for hospitality clients worldwide, the platform relies on robust architecture to remain fast, secure, and available. Founded by hospitality technology professionals in 2012 and backed by GrowthCurve Capital, Duetto provides commercial management software for hotels, resorts, and casinos.
This position suits an experienced infrastructure specialist who wants to shape automation practices, eliminate manual operational work, and take ownership of critical system decisions. Team members collaborate directly with developers rather than working in isolation, contributing to an AI-forward engineering culture that utilizes tools for incident triage and code generation. Responsibilities
- Architect and implement infrastructure for seamless migrations of critical systems
- Design, build, and maintain tooling and processes for SaaS products on AWS
- Collaborate with developers to enhance application reliability, performance, security, and scalability
- Build and maintain critical infrastructure components for high availability and security
- Drive alignment across technical and non-technical teams to support business goals
- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation as the final line of support, leading root cause analysis and permanent fixes
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in an Operations, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering role
- Hands-on cloud infrastructure administration expertise, with proficiency in AWS
- Understanding of networking and security principles at an engineering level
- Working knowledge of the AWS ecosystem including IAM, VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Secrets Manager, KMS, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail
- Production experience running Terraform or Terragrunt
- Experience working with Chef or Puppet
- Familiarity with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, and GitOps workflows
- Experience monitoring system health using DataDog, Prometheus, or Grafana
- Proficiency in reading Java, Ruby, Bash or Zsh, HCL, Python, and JavaScript codebases
Qualifications
- Experience utilizing ECS or EKS
- Exposure to SOC2 or secure-by-default practices
- Familiarity with Layer 7 load balancing
