In this role, the selected leader will establish and direct a newly formed global Subject Matter Expert (SME) organization within the Solutions Architecture team.

This is a leadership position overseeing three regional managers covering AMER, EMEA, and APJ across security, platform, core DevSecOps, and AI specialties. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, pioneers new operational frameworks, and possesses extensive second-line leadership experience in technical specialist environments. • Define engagement policies, triage rules, coverage thresholds, and handoff procedures with regional sales and post-sales teams
  • Establish metrics and key performance indicators for evaluations, workshops, demos, and proofs of value
  • Collaborate with sales leaders to monitor product category performance, forecast risks, and direct competitive strategy
  • Partner with enablement and product marketing to prepare field teams for upcoming product launches
  • Cultivate deep connections with technical sponsors and executive customers
  • Incorporate artificial intelligence tools into daily deal research, demonstration building, and knowledge sharing

Requirements

  • Five or more years of second-line leadership experience managing managers in solutions architecture, sales engineering, or technical specialist divisions
  • Demonstrated history of building or expanding specialist, overlay, or global solutions architecture teams within enterprise SaaS, security, DevSecOps, or developer tooling markets
  • Evident ability to connect technical team organization directly to bookings and consumption results using data
  • Experience navigating organizational change and ambiguity while providing clear strategic direction
  • Existing relationships with product and engineering leaders with a track record of driving roadmaps through field observations
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, application security tools, cloud computing platforms, Kubernetes, and AI-assisted development processes
  • Executive presence capable of engaging technical practitioners, management, and C-level stakeholders

  • Team member resource groups
  • Equity compensation and employee stock purchase plan
