Splash Financial seeks a Senior Director, Lender Success to direct and expand lender relationships and the team supporting them. Operating in a remote capacity, this role involves shaping partnership performance, building new relationships, and helping current partners grow. The employer is a financial technology company founded in 2013 that aims to help individuals overcome debt through automated loan processing technology and a network of banking partners.
This position reports to the SVP of Operations and requires close collaboration with Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Credit teams. The ideal candidate brings extensive background in managing financial institution partnerships and loan portfolios, along with experience leading and coaching teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the business development group to target, initiate, and launch new lender partnerships
- Oversee key lender accounts, construct account plans, and direct discussions regarding performance and expansion opportunities
- Manage the Lender Success team by setting expectations, coaching staff, and establishing consistent relationship management practices
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, and Compliance divisions to facilitate lender onboarding and execute initiatives
- Evaluate partnership metrics and feedback to guide strategic decisions and provide leadership with visibility into performance trends
- Work alongside the Credit team to deliver comprehensive analysis regarding performance trends and return on investment
Requirements
- Experience developing and managing financial institution or lender partnerships with a history of securing new accounts and expanding existing ones
- Background in managing and developing professional teams while establishing clear priorities and accountability
- Strong relationship-building and communication capabilities involving senior stakeholders and conflict resolution
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives spanning business, technical, and operational units
- Understanding of lending operations and ability to leverage performance data and partner feedback for decision-making
- Experience managing a loan portfolio with a deep knowledge of metrics impacting returns
