Job Description

Doxel is seeking a Senior Director, People to design and scale the internal people systems, processes, and talent strategies that support the company's growth. Operating within the construction technology sector, Doxel applies computer vision and artificial intelligence to help global industry leaders monitor project execution, manage risk, and optimize delivery workflows. In this hands-on leadership role, the person chosen will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and act as a builder who establishes foundational frameworks rather than maintaining legacy routines.

This opportunity suits an experienced, versatile professional who enjoys operating at multiple altitudes, from executive-level planning to tactical execution. The position covers a wide array of operational domains including recruiting infrastructure, performance management, total rewards, manager coaching, employee relations, and core HRIS administration using Rippling. A key emphasis of the role involves utilizing AI-forward tooling to make internal human resources processes sharper, faster, and more scalable. The ideal candidate functions as a player-coach who can independently configure systems and build models before systematizing them for broader organizational adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and improve the recruitment infrastructure to support hiring velocity, interview quality, and candidate experience
  • Partner with Finance on leveling architecture, benchmarking, and offer strategies
  • Develop and evolve the company career pathing framework to establish clear growth criteria across all levels
  • Run merit, promotion, and calibration cycles end to end
  • Coach and develop people managers, particularly first-time leaders, through performance and promotion decisions
  • Administer the Rippling platform, covering job architecture, approval workflows, and onboarding or offboarding flows
  • Handle employee relations issues with rigor and coach managers through difficult workplace situations
  • Oversee benefits strategy, annual renewals with brokers, 401(k) administration, and payroll operations
  • Manage employer-sponsored immigration needs and global mobility support
  • Expand and run learning and development programs to cultivate up-and-coming leaders

Requirements

  • 10 or more years of combined recruiting and human resources experience
  • Minimum of 2 years working within an Enterprise SaaS environment
  • Previous growth-stage company experience with a headcount ranging between 50 and 300 employees during tenure
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience owning an HRIS platform such as Rippling
  • Direct experience executing performance review, merit, promotion, or calibration cycles
  • Track record of building or owning a career pathing framework
  • Direct experience coaching people managers through performance conversations and conflict escalation

Qualifications

  • Experience evaluating and integrating AI-powered tools into human resources workflows
  • Familiarity with compensation and benchmarking tools such as Pave, Radford, or Carta
  • Background in international human resources operations across multiple entities or countries
  • Experience owning benefits strategy, broker renewals, and multi-country payroll
  • Prior experience managing or supporting employer-sponsored immigration cases
