Job Description
Motus provides vehicle reimbursement and driver risk-reduction services that simplify how companies repay driving costs and limit corporate exposure. It draws on a dataset built up over eight decades, and large Fortune 500 companies rely on it. The company is hiring a full-time Senior Enterprise Account Manager within its Business Development group. The listing is marked remote, and the posting says the job requires up to 25 percent travel for customer meetings, site visits and team gatherings.
The manager oversees a portfolio of the company's biggest and most complex accounts, each generating at least $150,000 in annual recurring revenue. This is a quota-bearing position. Revenue comes from renewals, upsells and expansion, including new products offered at renewal or mid-cycle. The manager builds trust with stakeholders across each customer, anticipates needs and risks, applies MEDDPICC to structure and advance opportunities, advises on new features, presents new offerings, runs full sales cycles for expansions, and keeps pipeline records in Salesforce. Partnership with Customer Success Managers is part of the job, and the Senior EAM is ultimately accountable for closing revenue.
Successful candidates bring at least five years in a customer-facing, quota-bearing role (AE or AM work), including three or more years working with large enterprise accounts where expansion is the goal. Experience selling subscription software, closing six-figure deals and handling renewals is important. The candidate should have guided complete sales cycles with several decision-makers and have training or practical use of a formal method such as Challenger, Sandler or MEDDPICC. High emotional intelligence, confident executive communication and the ability to explain technical ideas are needed. Background in fleet management technology or familiarity with Motus is a plus. The base pay is $110,000 plus performance-based incentive pay. Benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage starting on day one, flexible time off, a 401(k) with company match, disability and life coverage, a home office reimbursement, and up to 16 weeks of maternity or adoption leave.
