Capio Group is seeking a remote Senior Enterprise Architect to join its team on a full-time basis. Since 2010, the California-based information technology consulting firm has assisted government clients in delivering large and complex systems and solutions. This position suits an experienced professional who can operate strategically and provide industry subject matter expertise in governance, enterprise architecture strategy, business process design, and IT alignment.
The person in this role will guide strategic visions, establish connections with existing roadmaps, build EA models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and product discovery groups. Responsibilities also include evaluating current and future technologies, ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements along with architectural frameworks like MITA, and supporting governance processes. Responsibilities
- Connect existing roadmaps to align project objectives with broader strategic goals
- Guide the strategic vision of projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the project lifecycle
- Create enterprise architecture models reflecting business objectives and mapping data and technology
- Collaborate with stakeholders to find business process improvements and reengineering opportunities
- Evaluate the integration of current and new products and define their roles in the overall architecture
- Coordinate IT governance approvals and adhere to delivery standards such as Agile methodologies
- Conduct and document evaluations of proposed solution architectures to validate alignment with standards
- Ensure project architecture complies with state and federal requirements and architectural frameworks
Requirements
- Minimum of seven years of full-time employee experience applying enterprise architecture principles within the last 10 years
- At least five years of experience in a lead capacity within the last 10 years
- Minimum of six years of full-time employee experience developing major components of an enterprise architecture plan within the last 10 years
- Minimum of five years of full-time employee experience communicating project technologies requiring governance approvals within the last 10 years
- Seven years of full-time employee experience implementing or analyzing end-to-end solutions applying enterprise architecture best practices within the last 10 years
- Ability to provide client or user end reference contact information for applicable projects and two client references to sign attachments upon request
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in an IT-related or engineering field, or qualifying experience substituted on a year-for-year basis
- Minimum of two years of experience using Agile methodologies
- Minimum of two years of experience developing strategic direction and architectural strategy for system owners, data owners, and PMO teams
- Minimum of two years of experience collecting and organizing information to support enterprise and IT governance processes
- Minimum of two years of experience using Medicaid Information Technology Architecture in architecture assurance
- Minimum of two years of experience analyzing business functions and workflows with data dependencies
