Ashfield MedComms, an Inizio Company, is seeking a remote Senior Financial Analyst located on the East Coast of the US to join its global network. Inizio supports health and life science organizations by translating scientific concepts into strategies across the product and patient lifecycle, utilizing over 10,500 professionals across 50 countries.
In this role, the incumbent will provide advanced financial analysis, management reporting, and strategic insights for specific agencies or business units. Working alongside Finance Business Partners, Divisional FP&A, agency leadership, and Global Finance Services, the analyst owns complete management reporting packages—covering profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and operational metrics—while driving forecasting, budgeting, profitability reviews, and continuous process enhancements.
This opportunity suits an experienced finance professional comfortable navigating a global matrix organization who possesses strong technical modeling abilities and effective stakeholder communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly financial reporting packages for designated agencies or business units to guarantee accuracy and completeness
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc management reports featuring performance commentary and variance analysis
- Review financial records compiled by Global Finance Services and junior financial analysts
- Lead forecasting efforts covering revenue, operating expenses, margins, utilization rates, and headcount
- Develop financial models, scenario evaluations, and business cases for commercial decisions
- Analyze profitability metrics across clients, projects, and business units
- Enhance financial tools, dashboards, reporting automation, and data quality standards
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, business administration, or a related field
- Demonstrate extensive professional background in financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, and forecasting
- Possess advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
- Show a strong working knowledge of ERP systems, reporting software, budgeting principles, and profitability reviews
- Exhibit excellent attention to detail, organizational capabilities, and data integrity practices
Qualifications
- Prior background working within professional services, consulting, or project-based operational settings
- Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau reporting platforms
