Responsibilities
- Gather and evaluate business requirements
- Build, update, and maintain applications and microservices
- Provide operational support for existing systems across multiple divisions
- Execute unit, integration, system, and performance testing activities
- Facilitate user acceptance testing and secure formal sign-off
- Handle release management, deployment procedures, and change management
- Draft and maintain technical, user, and functional documentation
- Control source code, configuration files, and automated tests via Git
- Track risks, process ServiceNow change requests, and maintain audit compliance
- Engage with stakeholders and conduct user training sessions when necessary
Requirements
- Seven to ten years of professional Java development experience
- Hands-on background delivering production Java applications
- Working knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate
- Experience writing and upholding automated tests using tools such as JUnit or Cucumber
- Proficiency in Git-based collaboration including code reviews and branching
- Experience with relational databases, SQL, XML, YAML, and JSON
- Practical background using AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code
- Frontend development expertise in Angular utilizing TypeScript and JavaScript
- Familiarity with microservices, CI/CD, DevSecOps, Docker, Azure, and Terraform
- English language proficiency at a B2 level or higher
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in information technology or an equivalent field
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum working methodologies
- Prior experience working with Apache Camel
- Knowledge of ITIL service management practices
