Job Description
Calendly is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join its Website Development team and shape the online platforms that millions of visitors use to discover products, find information, and become customers. In this position, you will own public-facing web experiences from end to end, including the main marketing website and the Help Center.
This role suits an experienced engineer who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional partners across marketing, content, SEO, design, product, and engineering. You will be responsible for building fast, responsive, and accessible web systems, while also enhancing developer experience and guiding the technical direction of the public web platform.

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain performant, responsive, and accessible web experiences for millions of visitors
- Manage projects end to end from technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration
- Construct scalable frontend architecture, reusable components, and content models for rapid publishing workflows
- Integrate web applications with content management systems, analytics platforms, experimentation tools, and APIs
- Partner with marketing, content, SEO, design, and product teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Implement technical SEO and Answer Engine Optimization best practices for traditional search and AI discovery
- Monitor and optimize core web vitals, site performance, accessibility, reliability, and overall quality
- Contribute to technical direction through code reviews, documentation, testing, and engineering mentorship
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience with production web applications at scale
- Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript, TypeScript, modern frontend frameworks, HTML, and CSS
- Solid understanding of browser behavior, responsive design, accessibility, caching, and performance
- Demonstrated experience designing scalable frontend systems and reusable component architectures
- Experience integrating web applications with APIs, content management systems, and analytics platforms
- Working knowledge of technical SEO, metadata, structured data, canonicalization, and AEO
- Authorization to work lawfully in the United States without immigration sponsorship
Qualifications
- Experience with Payload CMS or other modern headless content management systems
- Familiarity with Astro or similar modern web frameworks and static or server-rendered architectures
- Experience with internationalization and localization across large web properties
- Background in experimentation, conversion optimization, growth marketing, or content teams
- Experience building structured content or content APIs for AI assistants and search systems
- Experience modernizing or migrating large websites, content management systems, or frontend architectures
