Job Description
Bright Vision Technologies is a technology consulting and software development organization specializing in cloud, AI, data, and enterprise solutions throughout the United States. The company is currently hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Java) to build, design, and manage large-scale web applications and distributed systems across multiple business areas.
This position encompasses the entire engineering lifecycle. The selected professional will translate business needs into technical blueprints, produce reliable code, deploy cloud-native services, and oversee their operational performance. The position is structured as a full-time, direct W2 engagement.
Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into reliable technical architectures
- Write production-quality code for enterprise web applications and distributed systems
- Deploy cloud-native services and support them through their full operational lifespan
Requirements
- Have a minimum of 6 years of professional software development background building enterprise applications
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, computational complexity, and end-to-end system design
- Bring advanced working knowledge of Java versions 11 and 17, Spring Boot, and clean RESTful API design
- Possess hands-on production experience with microservices architectures, covering decomposition, communication, and observability
- Demonstrate front-end development capabilities using React
- Show strong SQL skills with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
- Have experience with CI/CD tools and Git-based version control workflows
- Possess practical experience deploying software to AWS, Azure, or GCP
Qualifications
- Familiarity with Angular or Vue front-end frameworks
- Experience with event-driven architectures utilizing Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
- Exposure to distributed system concepts including eventual consistency, CAP trade-offs, idempotency, and saga patterns
- Experience writing automated tests using modern frameworks within TDD or BDD environments
