Tellent offers a comprehensive talent management suite combining an ATS, HRIS, and Performance Management solutions enriched with AI features, serving over 7,000 companies globally. In this position, the engineer will bridge the gap between different product modules, handling shared foundations, cross-product integrations, and new AI-driven capabilities. The role is cross-stack, requiring roughly sixty percent backend work in Elixir and Phoenix alongside forty percent frontend work in frameworks like React and Angular. Candidates will take ownership of ambiguous problems, shape features from initial design to measurable outcomes, and collaborate daily with product management, design, and various engineering groups.

Responsibilities
- Build shared foundations and product integrations utilizing an Elixir and Phoenix backend core
- Develop frontend interfaces using React or Angular depending on the specific product module

- Collaborate daily with the Platform team, Product Enablement, product managers, designers, and other engineering groups
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience, with familiarity in Elixir, Phoenix, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, and Oban considered a significant advantage
- Production-level frontend experience with React, Angular, or exposure to both
- Demonstrated range across multiple codebases and technologies rather than depth in a single stack
- Senior-level judgment regarding refactoring, shipping schedules, and adhering to established codebase conventions
- Product-oriented mindset focused on questioning requirements, prototyping cheaply, and validating user value
- Fluent English communication skills capable of explaining technical trade-offs across multidisciplinary teams
