Job Description

Cobalt is an offensive security company that provides penetration testing through a SaaS platform and a vetted community of testers. The company says it started in 2013 and operates as a fully remote team. This Senior GTM Systems and AI Specialist role is an individual contributor position that runs the technical stack behind the company's sales and marketing engine, and it answers to the Senior Director of Revenue Operations.

The person would be the hands-on technical lead for Salesforce and HubSpot, along with the connections between them and related tools such as enrichment providers, prospecting and sequencing applications, and Customer Success platforms. Responsibilities cover Salesforce architecture and governance, HubSpot configuration such as scoring rules and attribution settings, and keeping account and contact records accurate through enrichment, matching and deduplication. The role also includes building automation with tools such as n8n or Zapier and testing AI-enabled workflows where they can add measurable value.

Candidates should bring at least seven years in go-to-market systems, revenue operations or marketing operations, or a comparable SaaS role, along with deep hands-on skill in both Salesforce and HubSpot administration. Experience with enrichment, cross-platform integrations and automation tools is expected, as is an understanding of the full B2B SaaS revenue lifecycle. The base salary range is USD 135,000 to 160,000 per year before equity and benefits. Benefits listed include a 401(k) or pension, health coverage, generous time off plus parental leave, and stipends covering wellness, home-office setup and learning.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main technical administrator for Salesforce, covering architecture, automation, permissions, integrations and reporting
  • Own HubSpot configuration, including automation, lifecycle definitions, scoring and routing rules, forms, campaign setup and attribution settings
  • Keep the connections and data movement between Salesforce, HubSpot and other GTM applications running smoothly
  • Run data quality, enrichment and deduplication processes across account and contact records
  • Create automated workflows through APIs, webhook triggers, n8n, Zapier or similar platforms
  • Evaluate and test AI-powered tools that improve GTM productivity
  • Document architecture and business rules, and monitor system health

Requirements

  • Seven years or more working in B2B SaaS revenue technology, such as Salesforce administration or GTM engineering
  • Deep Salesforce admin skills: Flows, permissions, reporting and governance
  • Strong HubSpot administration background covering workflows, lifecycle management and attribution
  • Prior ownership of both Salesforce and HubSpot as the lead technical administrator, including their connection
  • Experience with enrichment, matching and CRM data governance
  • Experience building cross-platform integrations and workflow automation
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive projects from requirements to launch
  • Clear communicator who builds good working relationships across departments

Qualifications

  • Experience with sales-intelligence or sequencing platforms such as Apollo or Outreach
  • Experience designing signal-based workflows using intent, engagement or product data
  • Familiarity with building agent-style AI tools inside revenue systems
  • Comfort scripting with SQL, Python or JavaScript to extend systems
  • Background helping a growing SaaS company consolidate systems or redesign processes
